Manufacturing Services

1. Scope

Customers can choose our level of involvement in their circuit design and manufacturing. We can do substrate fab only (on an APTA layout or Build to print using our design guidelines), assembly only, assembly and test only etc., depending on our customers' needs. Best results in terms of costs and yield are achieved when we do design, substrate fab and assembly.

2. Materials Management

Our purchasing department has excellent relationships with key suppliers. We use large quantities of ceramic materials, conductors and resistors, epoxies and solders and enjoy volume pricing on many key materials. Depending on customer needs we work with;

Customer Furnished Materials (CFM)
Full Turnkey or
Turnkey with some CFM.

Our MRP and Inventory systems work with all 3 approaches.

3. Manufacturing Volumes Supported

Most of our manufacturing equipment is flexible semiautomatic which supports a wide range of volumes with short change-over times. We currently support the following volumes;

Prototype
Low Volume (1-100 units/week)
Medium Volumes (100-10,000 units/week)
High Volume (Over 10,000/week)

For very high volume we have free space available to set up dedicated lines for continuous manufacturing. We work with our customers to automate these lines as appropriate.

4. Continuous Improvement

We work with our customers to improve key manufacturing parameters, such as cycle time, yield, labor efficiency, etc. and share resulting cost savings with them.
